Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for our cloud services development and deployment processes. This role will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and ensure efficient software delivery.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in the management and optimisation of our cloud (Azure) platforms, focusing on continuous integration, deployment pipelines, and automation of the software development lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert guidance in the development and implementation of complex technical solutions.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects on Azure and AWS cloud platforms, using CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Bicep, and automation techniques.
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues, providing expert problem-solving support while maintaining formal request management.
- Establish processes and tools to monitor and manage the performance, security, cost, and availability of cloud services in alignment with SLAs.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations based on relevance to Seqwater’s goals.
- Foster and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Comply with Seqwater’s work health and safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
- Uphold Seqwater’s Code of Conduct and all internal policies and procedures.
