BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based services, with a strong focus on AWS environments
  • Cloud Infrastructure: In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals and core AWS services, including but not limited to ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC configurations
  • 3+ years of experience in Python for developing applications and automation scripts.
  • Experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments
  • Experience in setting up and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline development workflows
  • Experience in managing development, staging, and production deployments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime
  • Experience implementing identity and access management, data encryption, and ensuring compliance with industry standards

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with advanced AWS services such as SageMaker for machine learning model deployment, Step Functions for orchestrating workflows, and Batch for running batch computing jobs.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS, particularly within AWS environments.
  • Proficiency in setting up monitoring and logging solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana to ensure system health and performance.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell for automating routine tasks and improving operational efficiency.
  • Possession of AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, demonstrating a recognized level of expertise.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
