You are an engineer with passion for automation and for “keeping things simple and running”. You understand software development principles and apply those with automation by implementing build systems, participating in code reviews, and testing. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you have interest in continuously improving Development experience, but, above all, customer and user experience. You have experience in building CD pipelines and infrastructure to support running services in production cloud environments. REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience and knowledge of building and maintaining systems used for hosting container based solutions (Kubernetes or other).
• Experience managing deployments and infrastructure with Infrastructure as code and configuration management.
• Have experience managing code and writing automation for deploying and maintaining production environments.
• Experience with writing complex scripts, or applications in languages such as PowerShell, C#, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, etc.
• Experience with monitoring and observability of production workloads.

You will be part of the Cloud StoreFront team whose mission is to modernise and optimise one of the most used web applications in the market (83 million monthly active users). As a Senior Cloud Engineer, we will rely on you to help us design and build our CD pipelines and infrastructure as code solutions, as well as contribute to our compliance roadmap.

• Design and implement deployment systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and address patterns in infrastructure and applications that can be solved with a common solution.
• Improve the security, availability and performance of the systems you build while managing cost.
• Build automation using industry tools (like Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, etc) to enable the delivery of quality services.
• Participate as an active member of a product development scrum team, taking part in planning and daily standups.
• Regularly collaborate with the developers and engineers in the cloud and on-prem teams for ideas or solutions.
• Participate in on-call escalations when needed.
