Description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop and operate our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that our platforms run stably, securely, and scalably. Together with our development and product teams, you will automate processes, optimize our infrastructure, and create the technical foundation for reliable deployments and sustainable growth.  What does that mean in concrete terms?


  • You will develop and operate our AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • You automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code and modern CI/CD processes.
  • You ensure the reliable operation of our containerized applications and continuously develop our platform.
  • You are responsible for monitoring, logging, and the stability and performance of our systems.
  • You will work closely with our development and product teams and contribute best practices in the areas of cloud and DevOps.

Ideally, you should bring the following:

  • Several years of experience in building and operating modern cloud infrastructures on AWS.
  • Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems, and Git-based development processes.
  • Knowledge of operating relational databases as well as monitoring and logging cloud applications.
  • A good understanding of networks, cloud security, and automation.
  • An analytical, structured and independent way of working, as well as enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with helmet, carpenter, or service mesh technologies.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security and FinOps.
