These are the tasks you will be responsible for:

• Architecture & Design: Conceptualization and architectural design of highly available, resilient, and distributed cloud-native microservice architectures using Python and Go
• Infrastructure-related development: Evaluation, design and implementation of complex internal developer tools, CLI tools or custom Kubernetes operators in Go
• Software development: Conception, design and development of scalable, highly available cloud-native microservices and REST/gRPC APIs using Python and Go
• Quality Assurance & Git Governance: Establishing advanced branching and release strategies in Git, as well as designing comprehensive automated test and quality gateways.
• Version control & collaboration: Active use of Git within the team, including code reviews, branching management, and adherence to clean code guidelines.
• Interface expertise: Close collaboration with the platform team to define optimal API interfaces and seamless integration of application builds into the CI/CD pipelines.

You bring the following:

• Solid professional experience in agile software development of enterprise applications using Python and Go
• In-depth understanding of cloud-native design patterns
• Secure handling of architecture interfaces with container infrastructures (Kubernetes), service meshes and cloud ecosystems
• A solid understanding of how applications interact on Kubernetes, as well as experience with service meshes and cloud providers.
• Experience in large agile projects, e.g. according to Scrum, Kanban or scaled frameworks such as SAFe
• Experience in DevSecOps is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to both developers and management.
• German language skills at native speaker level and good English language skills
