Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer Location: Melbourne | Contract | Hybrid

Overview We're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing Engineering & DevOps team. This role is responsible for delivering secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automation solutions while driving continuous improvement across Infrastructure as Code, DevOps and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Designing, implementing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.

Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Delivering automation and orchestration solutions that improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.

Providing technical design input and contributing to engineering best practice and governance.

Experience & Skills

Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Azure DevOps (ADO) and CI/CD pipelines.

Automation tools such as Ansible and PowerShell.

Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC and identity management.

Azure networking, including VNets, vWAN, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers and DNS.

VMware, Windows Server and enterprise Microsoft environments.

Solid stakeholder engagement and experience delivering enterprise infrastructure projects.
