We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud networking solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. This role is pivotal in shaping our cloud networking strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity, performance, and security across our global infrastructure.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud network architecture and leadership.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Deep expertise in AWS and Azure networking (GCP a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Scripting skills in Python or similar for automation and tooling.
• In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, including segmentation, encryption, and identity-aware networking.
• Experience with container networking (e.g., EKS/AKS, CNI plugins, Calico, Istio).
• Solid knowledge of routing, firewalls, DNS, NAT, load balancing, peering, and network segmentation in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with network security platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, NetFlow, Wireshark).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Design and implement advanced cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments (VPCs/VNets, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPNs).
- Lead the integration of on-premises and cloud networks, ensuring secure and efficient hybrid connectivity

- Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to align cloud network strategies with business and security objectives.

- Conduct cloud network architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain network automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud-native and third-party networking tools and services.
- Provide tier-3 support and root cause analysis for complex cloud and hybrid network issues.
- Stay current with emerging cloud networking technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead cloud networking projects from design through implementation.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS).
