We have an opportunity at Bupa for Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join us and help drive Bupa to be the number one health provider for our customers. This role is a 12-month fixed term employment to support our Cloud Modernisation project work.
At Bupa we run workloads across multiple cloud platforms including Azure, GCP and AWS. But for this role we are seeking strong Azure Exp coupled with Terraform and Automation.

• Have 5+ years of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer deploying, managing or supporting Azure public cloud workloads, or cloud platforms at scale.
• Have deep experience with and understanding of the Microsoft technology stack, including on premises, Azure services and directory & identity services at scale.
• Demonstrated experience with contemporary development principles and tooling: ‘everything as code’, version-controlled change, continuous delivery and automated testing.
• Demonstrated skills in PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Automation, Active Directory and/or Azure Active directory - essential.
• Demonstrated skill in DevOps and Continuous Delivery and other Software Engineering principals such as source control, deployment pipelines modularity and abstraction essential.
• Experience authoring and modifying, clean self-documenting code using an IaC platform such as Terraform – essential.
• Ideally, possess certifications in ITIL or Agile and experience in a commercial environment.
• Relevant recognised specialist industry certification such as Azure Associate or Expert
