SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Drawing/nesting experience and laser cutting machine knowledge preferred
• Experience utilising SigmaNEST or other similar software is essential
• High level of computer literacy
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Confident communication skills both written and verbal, particularly within a small team environment
• Self-motivated, well organised, proactive, with the ability to work well under pressure and lead others

• Conduct programming for flatbed laser cutting equipment
• Supply nest instructions to operators to conduct daily production requirements
• Assist in nesting necessary materials in an efficient manner
• Analyze job order and perform necessary calculations.
• Analyze and select speeds and cutting tools for programs
• Respond to customer laser-cutting project enquiries, providing accurate and timely quotes
• Monitor all programs to make sure they follow drawings instructions whilst ensuring they complete work in an effective and safe manner
• Monitor inventory stock levels within programming, ensuring that levels remain adequate yet lean
