The Role Core Expertise: Microsoft 365, Exchange On-Premises, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, Intune, PowerShell, Hybrid Identity Services. Responsibilities: Microsoft 365 & Messaging Administration Manage hybrid messaging environments involving M365, Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises. Perform mailbox migrations, hybrid configuration management, mail flow troubleshooting, and messaging security administration. Monitor and optimize Microsoft 365 service health and performance. Active Directory & Entra ID Connect Administration Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Entra ID Connect servers. Troubleshoot synchronization issues between on-premises AD and Entra ID. Monitor synchronization health and ensure directory consistency across hybrid environments. Manage federation and authentication integrations where applicable. Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, including: Domain Controllers Group Policy Objects (GPOs) AD Sites and Services Authentication and authorization services Administer Microsoft Entra ID environments and identity lifecycle management. Manage Conditional Access policies, MFA, Identity Protection, and role-based access controls. Support identity governance and security best practices. Endpoint Management (Intune) Administer Microsoft Intune for device management and endpoint security. Configure compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, and device enrollment. Support Windows Autopilot and modern workplace initiatives. Implement and maintain endpoint security controls. Who You Are Overall 15+ years of IT Infra experience. Strong 10+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server (2016/2019/SE) and Exchange Online. Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory and hybrid identity solutions. Experience planning and executing migrations from legacy Exchange environments to Microsoft Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE). Hands-on experience with Exchange Server upgrades, coexistence planning, hybrid deployments, and migration strategies. Familiarity with Exchange Server SE architecture, licensing, security enhancements, and operational best practices. Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID and Entra ID Connect. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management. Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
