Job Summary The Senior Collections Manager is responsible to oversee the credit and collections activities of an organization, managing the collection of outstanding invoices, enforcing company policies, and leading a team of collections staff to ensure efficient operations. Job Responsibilities 1 Manage the collection of outstanding invoices, enforcing company policies, and ensuring efficient operations of the collections department. Manage and lead a team of collections staff to ensure effective performance and adherence to company guidelines. Ensure the implementation of strategies to increase the success rate of debt collections and minimize profit loss for the organization. Establish and monitor department goals aligned with overall business objectives, analyzing data, and reporting to executive management. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to reduce delinquencies and prevent clients from discontinuing business. Review and refine credit policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the collections department. Job Responsibilities 2 Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Proven track record in managing collections, with deep knowledge of debt recovery processes and financial regulations. Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of collection agents, ensuring high performance and compliance. Superior communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring smooth operations and conflict resolution. ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
