We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Administrator to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES - BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Working alongside the Senior Commercial Analysts (QS) Ensuring proper contractual administration of contract/project assigned, including value and cost control, and maintenance of contemporaneous records
  • Accurately value works undertaken and where necessary provide records to substantiate cost to allow prompt issue of application for payment/invoice in line with contractual timescales
  • Ensure change control process is managed effectively, including production of early warnings/variations, maximising entitlement
  • Preparation of financial statements in respect to projects/contracts assigned, working with operational teams to confirm understanding of financial position, proactively instilling commercial awareness throughout the wider business.
  • Accepts extra duties as situations arise.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is crucial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • Advanced Excel skills essential
  • Previous experience and knowledge of utilities
    We are looking for a candidate who is looking to enhance their career within a Commercial environment. The role would be suited to a candidate who has strong advanced Excel skills and comes with a Financial background. If you have studied Quantity Surveying or have worked in a Commercial Department this would be advantageous.
