ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our Rest of World – International Sales department as a Senior Commercial Analyst. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to provide commercial insights and inform business decisions. This is a newly created position based in our global head office in East Tamaki and will report into our Regional Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure compliance and reporting, particularly with offshore entity reporting obligations, and separately necessary KYC obligations.
  • Conduct screening, onboarding and due diligence checking of new offshore distribution partners in our 3rd party sales channels.
  • Oversee the trade credit insurance program and manage associated risks.
  • Support and coordinate business continuity for the department.
  • Collaborate closely with business units within the department and ensure compliance requirements are met.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive and assertive business partner with strong communication skills and a positive outlook. Your business acumen and international accounting experience will enable you to manage compliance and drive improvements across the department.

Other key skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • 7+ years accounting experience, ideally with a CA or professional body equivalent qualification.
  • Multinational commercial exposure and experience working within a global organisation is critical.
  • Knowledge of the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare business, product groups and systems would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to influence and enhance business processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • IT proficient with strong excel skills and knowledge of SAP
