Job Description We’re seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to partner closely with our Operations, Fleet Management, Claims, Product and Property teams. In this high impact role, you’ll turn complex data into practical commercial insight that helps leaders make confident, timely decisions. You’ll play a key role in delivering our Finance Plan through stronger forecasting, sharper reporting and smarter decision making - influencing outcomes across our national branch and fleet network. This hybrid role is based in Sydney, giving you the flexibility to work from home and from our centrally located offices in Barrack Place and Sydney Olympic Park. Your role at SIXT Your key responsibilities will include: Partner with operational leaders to understand performance drivers across fleet and branch operations, providing clear commercial insight to support decision‑making Analyse key cost drivers (including fleet mix, damage and claims, and operational costs) to identify profitability and efficiency opportunities Build robust business cases, track benefits, and complete post‑implementation reviews for operational initiatives Deliver insightful reporting and dashboards (actuals vs forecast, trends and KPIs) to support weekly and monthly trading rhythms Own budgeting and forecasting models, clearly articulating risks, opportunities and key drivers to stakeholders Model and evaluate commission structures (including IRPD), providing scenario analysis and recommendations aligned to financial guardrails Interpret commercial documents such as lease agreements, RFPs and tenders, identifying financial implications and risks Translate analysis into clear, compelling recommendations and present insights to stakeholders at all levels Build, automate and improve decision‑support tools using Excel (including Power Query) and BI / planning systems such as TM1, Tableau, Looker or NetSuite Your skills matter To be successful in the role, you will bring: 5+ years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A or a similar analytical role CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) — preferred Advanced financial modelling and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn data into a clear commercial story Confidence working with ambiguity in a fast‑moving environment Advanced Excel capability (including Power Query) and comfort working with large data sets Experience with financial systems and BI tools (TM1, Tableau, Looker, NetSuite) As part of our recruitment process, successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks.
