Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Are you a Finance Business Partner or Business Performance Manager ready to step into a senior commercial finance role where your insights shape the direction of a major FMCG business?
At Sofina Foods, we’re looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to work closely with senior stakeholders across our pork division, driving profitability and helping shape strategic decisions across multiple channels—Retail, Foodservice, and Export.
Please note that this role requires a full time office base at either Malton or Grimsby offices.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is more than just a finance role—it’s a chance to be at the heart of commercial decision-making, challenging the status quo and influencing change across our business.

You will:

  • Deliver high-impact financial analysis to support tenders, promotions, and strategic business planning
  • Act as a key strategic finance lead, partnering with commercial and cross-functional teams
  • Mitigate inflationary pressures with actionable solutions via sales and category insights
  • Improve margin performance through pricing strategy and new product development evaluations
  • Provide pre- and post-promotional analysis to guide effective decision-making
  • Evaluate raw material alternatives with cost-impact assessments and scenario planning
  • Manage customer profitability reporting, offering challenge and support to commercial leads
  • Deliver insightful product costing analysis using “what-if” scenarios and margin forecasts
  • Support commercial strategies through robust financial modelling and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects with a financial lens
