SENIOR COMMERCIAL FINANCE SPECIALIST – ABL/INVOICE FINANCE

Compensation: £50,000 – £70,000pa based on experience + Commission (OTE £120,000 – £140,000)

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in invoice finance, ABL, or commercial lending
• Strong understanding of receivables-backed funding structures, recourse vs non-recourse, CHOCs, etc.
• Proven ability to originate and close deals (from broker, lender, or advisory background)
• Experience managing stakeholders across finance, credit, and operations
• Comfortable engaging with C-suite clients and structuring complex commercial cases
• Ambitious, commercial, and consultative – with a desire to help entrepreneurs scale
• Bonus: Familiarity with FX, international trade flows, or complementary finance products

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Funding Specialist with deep expertise in Invoice Finance or Asset-Based Lending to join our high-performing team in London. This is a client-facing sales role that blends deal origination, structuring, and advisory, with the opportunity to lead or mentor junior team members as we expand. You’ll work with SMEs and mid-cap corporates to understand their working capital needs and provide bespoke funding solutions via our panel of UK and international lenders.

This is not a siloed sales role - you’ll collaborate across our ecosystem, gaining exposure to:

• Structured debt and real estate finance
• FX hedging and international payments
• Corporate treasury solutions
• Embedded finance and crypto treasury offerings

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Originate and manage a personal pipeline of invoice finance opportunities
• Conduct in-depth client needs assessments and present appropriate structures
• Liaise with lenders to secure terms, support credit submissions, and negotiate offers
• Work closely with our FX desk to identify cross-sell opportunities
• Contribute to internal product knowledge and deal structuring frameworks
• Support junior team members through mentoring or team leadership (optional)
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records and report on pipeline, conversion, and revenue
