This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and independent Commercial Lawyer to provide vital support to a sole practitioner in Australia. With a focus on Australian commercial law, you will handle various transactional and advisory tasks with minimal supervision, showcasing your expertise and contributing to the firm’s efficiency. Your ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining high standards of quality is essential as you assist with crucial legal matters. \n Accountabilities Draft, review, and advise on a wide range of commercial legal documents, including shareholders’ agreements, sale of business contracts, lease agreements, and contractor agreements. Provide legal support for commercial transactions and real estate matters. Assist with wills and estates documentation. Manage workload autonomously and help streamline workflow for the client. Deliver high-quality work that aligns with Australian legal standards and practice norms. Requirements Law degree and current legal practicing certification. Minimum of 5–10 years' experience. Prior experience working with or supporting senior lawyers or sole practitioners and familiarity with Australian law. Demonstrated ability to independently handle legal drafting and contract preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong document drafting and legal analysis skills.
