Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead our commercial strategy and operations. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and ensuring the commercial success of our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Major infrastructure experience in rail, health, justice, or government projects preferred.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen and advanced Excel and Power BI skills preferred.
  • Contracting Experience: Alliance Contracting experience is advantageous.
  • Client/Consultancy Experience: Experience on the client or consultancy side, as well as contracting, is beneficial.
  • Leadership: Ability to provide leadership to the Commission while also keen to get into the detail when required.
  • Communication: Professional communication skills are highly important, as many roles are embedded with the client.

Responsibilities
  • Commission Lead: Serve as the Turner & Townsend commission lead for a number of key clients
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the close-out of commercial reviews and negotiations on existing projects.
  • Development Support: Support the development and setup for key clients lead the PMO framework.
  • Team Integration: Work as part of a project team, integrating with commercial managers, contract administrators, technical advisors, clients, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Commercial Insight: Provide insight and advice on commercial and contract arrangements, financial forecasting, payments, contract management & controls, change management, cashflow analysis, and claims management.
