We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior to Principal level Commercial Manager to join our team at Leidos Gibbs & Cox Australia. This role provides senior commercial management support to a major naval project. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to innovative solutions within the sector.

Responsibilities

The position will include the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and represent commercial interests, and advise principals on commercial risks and issues
  • Develop, propose, explain and implement commercial strategies to achieve the operational objectives of the project
  • Work with counterparty commercial / contract team and facilitate support to the development of scopes of work and contract changes
  • Support the development and assessment of contract changes and relevant scopes and technical deliverables
  • Provide professional leadership and mentoring in the project commercial team to develop team capabilities and effectiveness
