Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Sales Account Executive to join our Commercial Sales team. This customer-facing role is focused on driving AMD’s commercial sales across client, server, cloud, and GPU products. The role focuses on exceeding sales targets, managing strategic accounts, growing the sales pipeline, and deepening customer relationships. Account Executive is expected to plan and execute account strategies, document activities in Salesforce (SFDC), collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Growing revenue and share of wallet across assigned accounts and partner channels
  • Understand the customer’s business goals and requirements; foster relationships and manage customer expectations to mutually aligned business goals with AMD
  • Create and implement sales and marketing programs to grow AMD’s business within the assigned accounts
  • Manage executive relationships between accounts and AMD.
  • Establish and maintain account plans to promote sales growth.
  • Actively involve the Account Squad members in developing the account strategy as reflected (and documented) in the Account Plan.
  • Achieve assigned quota for AMD products
  • Be a strong advocate for the customer internally to AMD, reporting and resolving customer issues
  • Building and executing account strategies, sales programs, and enablement plans
  • Evangelizing AMD solutions to partner sales teams through training and engagement
  • Managing and deepening executive-level relationships within the partner ecosystem
  • Collaborating with cross-functional AMD teams to align on strategic objectives and deliver value to customers
  • Create and maintain all customer and related partner contacts in SFDC.
  • Create and maintain accurate Account Maps in SFDC.
  • Discover and document (in SFDC) your assigned accounts’ install base (client and server). Update quarterly using the Install Base feature in SFDC.
