About the job:  Kent is looking for Senior Commissioning Technicians to be based in Orange, TX and support regional project site(s).   Lead a team of Commissioning technicians, plan and schedule daily work activities, completion of assigned technical pre commissioning activities and check sheets; To manage assigned aspects of static and dynamic commissioning as required. To deliver Commissioning through the System Handover Management Process   Skills and Responsibilities:   Responsibilities: * Demonstrate personal HSSE leadership and excellent HSE behaviors at all times and ensure that safety expectations are communicated and maintained. * Communicate with technician reports daily and talk through the following days’ activities identifying any HSSE issues to be raised at toolbox talks. * Attend all mandatory training as specified in HSE, and Permit To Work training schedule. * Ensure all team members are fully aware and understand all the projects’ safe working practices and adhere to them to maintain a SAFE working environment. * Ensure all team members adhere to the Permit to Work procedure and fully understand the process. * Provide coaching / mentor national and junior team members as necessary. * Assist technician reports to resolve any technical issues. * Ensure technicians submit daily the check sheets records of testing carried out. * Carry out completion line walks of mechanical and process systems and compile punch lists in accordance with project specifications. * Carry out line walks and apply process isolations were instructed. * Understand the requirements for vessel inspections, alignments, PSV’s, Flushing and inspections. * Assist discipline engineers to compile Livening Up Notices to allow sub system/system energization. * Inspect and process equipment in line with project specifications and complete the associated ITR paperwork. * Take part in Tri Party Sub System/System Completion Walk downs and punch list item categorization. * System Handover Management Process pre commissioning check sheet completion. * Ensure the projects commitment to Safety is maintained. * To complete the work scope assigned within the defined project schedule, ensuring the engineering design standards are achieved and equipment operability satisfactorily demonstrated.   In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.   Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:    Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:  * 8 to 10 plus experience of proven track record of relevant commissioning experience on Technical Systems on onshore or offshore Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemical or Power Industry facilities, and demonstrate an understanding of Commissioning process. * Control of Work / PTW processes during execution. * Control of Work / PTW processes during execution. * Commissioning of utility and process systems. * System Handover Management Process pre commissioning check sheet completion.     Communication: * Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.     Behavior/ Core Competencies: At Kent, you will handle various atypical tasks with reference to our defined processes and procedures. Responsibilities
