As a Senior Communications Manager you craft the communications strategies for all Avalanche Studios Group products and cultivates relationships with partners to amplify the message. You’ll be responsible for all written communications relating to our product portfolio, ensuring that all our output is aligned with the tone of voice for that product.
What you’ll do
Develop overall external product communications strategy & framework.
Collaborate with marketing teams on written content (blogs, news articles, etc.).
Manage external copywriting to ensure timely, on-brand, quality content.
Build and maintain product PR guidelines and contingency plans.
Arrange media training for key product representatives.
Cultivate strong relationships with earned media partners to maximize coverage.
Build product PR plans with Brand and Campaign Managers.
Craft targeted PR messages that create buzz for our products.
Manage agencies executing product PR campaigns, ensuring they meet KPIs.
Develop web strategy ensuring strong user experience for players & stakeholders.
Manage product websites, ensuring they meet legal and data protection standards.
Ensure websites reflect brand values and maximize player engagement.
Execute relationship marketing campaigns for marketing beats and product launches.
Grow paid influencer marketing strategy and campaigns with external agencies.
Who you are
You’re a seasoned communications and marketing professional who’s had experience launching new games and supporting ongoing live services.
You are comfortable in developing and leveraging relationships with media and agencies to amplify our brands and campaigns.
Your ability to be adaptable, well-organized and a detail-oriented person with an openness to change will set you up for success.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal are a must.
Experience with and confident in building and maintaining strong relationships.
Experienced marketer, capable of driving multiple workstreams at once.
Has experience of and is comfortable with public speaking.
Previous experience at an international games publisher is expected, although we would consider adjacent technology or entertainment industries.
Other
The role is based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, alongside the marketing team in a hybrid office/home environment.
Some international business travel may be required (circa once per quarter)
