Department Communications Position Senior Communications Officer Location Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan Qualification Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations or marketing. Requirements Proven ability to design and create content for digital platforms, along with platform management expertise. Established relationships with both local and regional business and industry media outlets. Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint/ Outlook), with advanced skills in PowerPoint. Solid experience with social media platforms, including blogs, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Event planning and execution experience. Ability to thrive under pressure, work collaboratively with other teams, and meet tight deadlines. A genuine interest in communications, branding and reputation management, with the commitment to staying current on industry trends. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster effective personal connections. Design, photography & videography experience, or knowledge an advantage. A solid understanding of communications strategies, as well as monitoring and evaluation systems. Responsibilities Support Communications Manager in creating and delivering communications materials, managing related budgets and ensuring timely execution of projects. Develop and execute comprehensive digital communication plans across multiple platforms. Manage digital communication with key stakeholders, including employees, service providers, and the local community. Create high-quality graphic design assets for digital channels (websites, social media, email campaigns, presentations). Ensure all visuals are visually compelling, on-brand, and meet corporate standards. Oversee the development of written and visual content for the company's digital platforms, including blogs, infographics, social media posts and newsletters, ensuring it aligns with corporate messaging and engages target audiences. Monitor and analyze the performance of digital communication using analytics tools, refining strategies as needed and providing detailed reports to senior leadership. Stay informed about industry trends that affect employees and stakeholders, making proactive recommendations to adjust communication strategies accordingly. Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople. Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals, and other organizations, often via telephone and email. Researching, writing, and distributing press releases to targeted media Collating and analyzing media coverage. Writing and editing speeches, articles and annual reports Devising and coordinating photo opportunities, ensuring they support communication goals and align with brand standards. Organize and provide communication support for events such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, and press tours, ensuring they run smoothly and achieve desired outcomes.
