PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Senior Company Secretary, Wealth, is responsible for leading a small team that provides professional corporate secretarial and governance advisory services to the entities within the Wealth portfolio and supports their boards and committees. This role also collaborates with the Group Legal – Corporate & Governance team on various legal and governance projects across the AMP group.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business or related field
  • Minimum 6 years company secretarial experience
  • Knowledge and experience of the financial services industry and the legal and regulatory regime, including knowledge of managed investment schemes, responsible entity and AFSL obligations
  • Exceptional understanding of corporate governance issues (both at policy and implementation level)Experience in liaising and building effective relationships with non-executive directors, executives and other senior internal business partners and regulators.
