As our future Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing UNIQA’s reward strategy. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of Compensation & Benefits, HR controlling and HR reporting, closely cooperating with HR Business Partners, the Group C&B team, and other stakeholders. Your expertise will directly support aligning our reward practices with business goals and ensuring high-quality HR data and insights.

Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Support the design and continuous development of local reward strategies in line with HR and business objectives;
  • Conduct job evaluations, participate in salary benchmarking and compensation reviews;
  • Contribute to the management of local compensation and benefit policies, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and group frameworks;
  • Assist in the implementation and development of incentive schemes, merit increases, and benefits packages;
  • Act as a local liaison for regional C&B initiatives and projects;
  • Monitor market trends and best practices to provide insights and recommendations.
  • HR Controlling & Reporting:
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of the salary budget in collaboration with HR Business Partners and the Controlling team;
  • Provide high-quality data analysis and maintain HR dashboards;
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decision-making.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • University degree (preferably in HR, Economics, Finance or other relevant field);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or HR controlling;
  • Experience in job grading systems (e.g., Korn Ferry) and payroll systems (e.g., Nexon);
  • Solution oriented mindset;
  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English (written and spoken);
  • DWH and/or programming skills are advantages.
