We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career team at Mercer. This role will be based in Toronto, and it is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior Compensation Consulting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative rewards strategies that drive organizational success and attract top talent. You’ll craft and implement tailored compensation and incentive programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards. By delivering compelling insights and recommendations to senior leaders, you’ll influence key talent decisions and help clients stay ahead in a competitive market.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in management consulting, total rewards, compensation, finance, human resources, or accounting preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX (MATCH), COUNTIF, AVERAGEIF, etc.) and developing analysis files and dashboards
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and presentation design
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a drive to understand “the why”, seeking opportunities to develop deeper understanding and new skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing client needs
  • Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
