Description
This is a high-impact role requiring strong judgment, business acumen, and the ability to influence people at all levels of the organization. Your responsibilities will include: Governance and strategy: Chair the regional compliance committee, driving effective governance and timely decision-making Lead the annual risk assessment process by partnering with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and prioritize key compliance risks by division Drive the strategy and execution of Annual Compliance Plans, aligning initiatives with risk assessments and compliance objectives Track progress of key initiatives, report on compliance KPIs, and escalate material risks as appropriate Design and deliver engaging compliance training and communication programs tailored to various levels of the organization Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Commercial Divisions, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure proactive, solution-oriented compliance Ensure documentation, due diligence, and approvals are compliant with internal controls, SOPs, and MedTech/local codes Provide expert-level advice on complex compliance scenarios, including high-risk and non-standard cases Deliver timely, pragmatic guidance on both local and international compliance policies (e.g., Mecomed, KSA Anti-Gift Law) Minimum of 10 years' experience in compliance, legal, or a related field, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector Deep understanding of local and international healthcare compliance regulations, including Mecomed Code Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills in English Familiarity with compliance systems and tools used in multinational organizations Previous experience supporting operational compliance activities or anti-bribery/anti-corruption audit activities across EMEA Experience advising on compliance issues in the Middle East and/or North Africa Additional language skills (e.g., Arabic or French) Experience in matrixed, multicultural environments
Responsibilities
The Senior Compliance Manager will chair the regional compliance committee and lead the annual risk assessment process. Responsibilities also include driving the strategy and execution of Annual Compliance Plans and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure proactive compliance.
