About the Role
As a Senior Compliance Specialist, you’ll be the cornerstone of ensuring our communities meet and exceed regulatory standards. You’ll work closely with property management teams, owners, and regulatory agencies to ensure that every community we serve remains compliant, sustainable, and supportive for residents.

You will be responsible for:

  • Compliance Oversight: Ensuring adherence to LIHTC, HUD, MHP, HOME, Rural Developments, Section 8, and other housing program requirements.
  • File Audits & Certifications: Reviewing and monitoring resident certifications, interims, and recertifications, while coaching Compliance Specialists.
  • Reporting & Auditing: Preparing compliance reports, reviewing HUD vouchers, and assisting with investor, agency, and auditor reviews.
  • Training & Support: Guiding property teams on EIV policies, Yardi Voyager/RentCafe/RightSource use, HAP vouchers, and other compliance procedures.
  • Agency Communication: Coordinating directly with HUD, TCAC, CalHFA, USRDA, HCD, for annual reporting.

This role reports to the Compliance Manager and collaborates closely with Regional Managers, Community Managers, and Operations leadership.
