JOB SUMMARY

The role involves escalating non-compliant findings to management and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining business ethics and integrity.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 4 years of work in compliance, regulatory or audit experience.
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the desire to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated business experiences to include: customer service, professional communication (written and verbal) project management, organization and problem solving.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years corporate compliance experience in the medical device, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare industry.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare-related laws and regulations (including Anti-Kickback statute, False Claims Act, and OIG guidance on an effective compliance program) as well as applicable industry codes (e.g. AdvaMed Code on Interactions with Healthcare professionals).
  • Great interpersonal skills to work with multifunctional business teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to embrace change and innovation.
  • Strong attention to detail.

    The anticipated salary range for this position:
    $85,280.00 - $123,760.00 Annual
    The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Responsibilities
  • Execute compliance risk program for assigned US Program Integrity risk areas and escalate non-compliant findings.
  • Update risk program mitigation documents, including policy, procedure, and training, to address changes in laws, regulations, or company rules.
  • Develop plans and educate employees on compliance practices. Issue professional and timely communications to employees outlining their responsibilities as well as when new rules are established or revisions are made to existing policies.
  • Participate in compliance risk and effectiveness assessments for US Program Integrity.
  • Seek innovative solutions for processes, develop action plans, and participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Control records related to noncompliance reports, investigation, and audit requests.
  • Perform live monitoring and audits to ensure compliance with company Code of Conduct.
  • Apply critical thinking to formulate strategies, manage conflict, and act as a resource on processes and systems.
