E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect (Cyber) to join our team in Offutt AFB, NE in support of USSTRATCOM. USSTRATCOM is a combatant command with responsibilities that span strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), enterprise operations, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Operations (JEMSO), global strike, and missile threat assessment. Executing these responsibilities entails close alignment and collaboration with senior national and Department of Defense (DoD) leadership, functional and geographic combatant commands, defense agencies, and other elements of national power. Strategic deterrence is critical to the DoD’s integrated deterrence approach. USSTRATCOM’s ability to communicate is foundational to its mission and success, ensuring the safety and security of the United States (U.S.) and its allies, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (24x365). Job Responsibilities: Apply information assurance engineering expertise to USSTRATCOM GOC mission systems, inclusive of government and commercial common user systems, as well as dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures focused on command and control-related networks. Establishes and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource requirements and constraints. Supports development and implementation of doctrine and policies for high-level senior customers. Performs a variety of computer security systems engineering tasks applied to specialized technology problems. Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems, and technology problems as they relate to application of Information Assurance requirements. Analyzes security requirements, conducts security assessments, and provides security consulting services. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: 10-16 years of relevant experience with MS/MA in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II security certification (e.g., Security+ ce). Knowledge and experience in critical command and control requirements, inclusive of NC2 and NC3 operational capabilities and procedures. Knowledge of national, Department of Defense (DoD), and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) guidance, CJCS Emergency Action Procedures, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Emergency Action Procedures, CJCS Instructions, and Presidential Policy Directives. Must be a U.S. Citizen.? Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.? Preferred Qualifications: Masters or PhD degree in engineering, systems analysis and/or systems architecture. 5 years or more experience in supporting USSTRATCOM Global Operations Center (GOC) and/or other operations centers at Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, or DoD levels. Experience in the NC2 operational platforms, communications, and modes of operations.
