Senior Concept Designer Womenswear

For a highly successful and fast-growing Dutch women's fashion retailer, we are seeking a Senior Concept Designer with a strong nose for trends and the consumer.

In this new role, you will provide creative direction to an extensive collection and become the substantive sparring partner of the Head of Design & Buying. You will inspire and nurture a design team of six professionals, without providing hierarchical leadership, and safeguard the coherence between concept, product, and commerce.

We are looking for someone who:

• translates trends into clear concepts, color charts, and mood boards;

• adapts quickly in a dynamic retail environment;

• Has at least 5 years of experience with commercial women's fashion collections;

• can design and develop capsule collections independently;

• combines creativity with a good sense for the consumer;

• preferably has technical knowledge of through-passes, fit, and construction;

• is an excellent speaker of Dutch.

This position is performed on-site in Alkmaar and is not remote.
