Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) supporting a high-priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC). HNC is a one-of-a-kind Air Force organization located at Lackland AFB that delivers full-spectrum lifecycle management for information assurance and other critical cyber systems. As the division responsible for technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cyber security systems and products, HNC ensures mission assurance by enabling warfighter access to vital information while denying adversary access. This position provides expert CM/DM, Quality Assurance, Requirements, Program/Project, and Software Engineering support across multiple programs and lifecycle phases. This is a full-time, on-site position at Lackland AFB. Responsibilities In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter. Duties include, but not limited to: Provide CM/DM, quality assurance, program/project, requirements analysis, risk management, and software engineering support in accordance with CM Plans, Air Force SEAM CM processes, contracts, and PMO practices. Manage configuration of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and conduct design audits. Provide CM of all relevant program artifacts and archive acquisition documentation. Review and analyze contractor CM programs, data deliveries, CDRL requirements, and compliance. Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting. Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Technical Review Boards (TRBs); record approved changes and results. Participate in cross-functional change control boards and evaluate proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected. Support Engineering Assessments, Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs); record and maintain findings, minutes, and action items. Report data delivery status and support pre- and post-contract award data reviews. Track data item deliverables and responses; establish workflows; support archival systems. Work in an integrated product team environment with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design/manufacturing engineers. Develop and administer CM plans; maintain design traceability and integrity. Assist the Government with configuration control for IT systems, including configuration planning, documentation, inventory, and status. Track Change Requests, Discrepancy Reports/Problem Reports. Provide Quality Assurance checks on system baselines. Support licensing tasks and packaging and delivery of software; maintain CM library and software repository. Manage and control product baselines. Recommend and document CM plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals. Analyze data and prepare plans and briefings in support of software-driven systems. Monitor effectiveness of CM plans, identify issues, and recommend resolutions. Audit and review IT system configurations; identify and maintain baselines. Oversee CM USAP Self Inspection Checklists and input results in MICT. Create and maintain revisions to CDRL packages; issue Data Calls; convene and participate in Data Requirements Review Boards. Receive and distribute CDRL deliverables; maintain distribution lists for program transmittal methods. Ensure integrity of CDRL justification forms and monitor contractor compliance. Provide CM/DM input into program documentation; identify data requirements in SOW, SOO, and PWS. Ensure compliance with DoDI 5230.24, DoDD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, DoDI 5000.02, DFARS 252.227-7013, DFARS 252.227-7014, and ASSIST database.
