Allegiance Construction, a well-established and highly respected general contractor, is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our commercial preconstruction team. In this key role, you will deliver accurate and detailed estimating services across a wide range of project types and delivery methods—including design-build, construction management, design-bid-build, negotiated contracts, GMP, and lump sum commercial construction projects.
This role involves organizing and leading bid teams for larger commercial projects ($50M+) while offering mentorship and guidance to junior estimators. You will manage multiple estimates simultaneously, ensuring alignment with the project team on deadlines & deliverables.
You will have at least 5-10 years experience as a construction estimator and have an in-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems, along with a solid knowledge of material and trade costs, building types, general conditions, overhead, and profit. Naturally, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also essential. Throughout the processes you’ll be working closely with project teams, clients and design teams to ensure estimates are accurate and reflect the current scope of work during all stages of preconstruction.
