a day in the life of a construction manager* at co-elevate*
- Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks.
- Provide meaningful oversight and mentorship of less experienced staff by providing engineering guidance and reviewing calculation packages.
- A daily break for a game of Table Tennis or Golf Simulator is always welcomed.
- Attend one of co-elevates group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
- Participate in one of co-elevates charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events.
- Conduct drawing review to ensure conformance to designs and seal drawings as needed.
- At the end of a long day, it is commonplace for our leadership to send staff members home to ensure work-life balance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Construction Technologist to support our engineering team by managing project documentation, coordinating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of construction processes. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, quality, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of our projects.
- Experience: 5+ years in construction administration, engineering support, or a related role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with interpreting structural drawings and building knowledge. Familiarity with building construction terminology, contracts, and engineering documentation.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or other construction management software).
