ICMS is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager who will be a leader of a construction project. This individual is responsible for the oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site. Limited supervision and general direction, independently applies advanced techniques to complex assignments. Viewed as a fully competent, experienced professional. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide oversight of construction related activities for contracts. Support COR by performing all project management tasks. Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects. Coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review. Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field. Review contractor submittals for contract conformance. Provide assistance to the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings. Draft technical responses to any change orders. Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications. Requirements · Four-year Bachelor's Degree is desired in construction management, civil engineering or related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience. · Prefer Project Management or other project management certification. · Minimum of 20 years project management work experience on commercial or Government construction projects. Project management experience on projects over $50M. · Proven leadership and team management skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. · Proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and schedules. Additional Qualifying Factors: · As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. Security Clearance: It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required. Employment Type: Full-time Citizenship requirement: U.S. Citizenship Location: Laurel, MD (may need to visit Washington DC location and Fort Meade, MD) Salary: $160,000 – $220,000/year *This is a contingent hire position based upon the award of contract.
