Job Description Senior Construction Project Manager Oxford, CT Full time Job description The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of real estate development and construction projects from initial concept through occupancy. This leader will manage pre-construction activities such as permitting and design coordination, as well as construction oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design standards. Additionally, this role will help build and lead a dedicated internal development and construction team, positioning Haynes Group for continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction Leadership Lead entitlements and permitting efforts, coordinating with municipalities, agencies, and stakeholders. Manage the design process with architects, engineers, and consultants to align with vision, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with internal teams (leasing, development, finance) to ensure cohesive project planning. Develop detailed budgets, schedules, and feasibility analyses. Construction Oversight Oversee internal teams and/or subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor schedule, budget, and quality performance, resolving issues proactively. Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and design intent. Manage project closeout and transition to occupancy. Team & Leadership Development Build and mentor a high-performing internal project management team. Promote collaboration and clear communication across all disciplines. Provide guidance, training, and professional development for junior staff. Qualifications Progressive experience in real estate development and large-scale construction project management. Proven ability to manage projects from entitlement through closeout. Experience in team building and leadership. Deep understanding of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
