Skillforce is currently hiring an experienced Senior Construction Scheduler for a mission critical project in Omaha, NE. This is a full-time, direct hire position with one of the largest general contractors in the US. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Project Scheduler in on mission critical projects. Position Details: * Location: Omaha, NE * Start Date: ASAP * Duration: Long term, direct placement * Pay: Up to $140k  Responsibilities: * Develops, updates, and maintains project schedules in collaboration with project teams. * Reviews schedules to ensure best practices and effective planning methods are applied. * Participates in all phases of construction planning and scheduling, from proposals to final updates. * Provides training and assists in preparing training materials on scheduling processes and tools. * Helps develop and improve company-wide scheduling standards and best practices. * Conducts regular site visits to assess progress and update schedules based on actual job status. * Attends project and jobsite meetings to discuss schedule performance and adjustments. * Supports Lean and Pull Planning sessions, aligning project schedules with team results. * Prepares project reports and updates for leadership and project teams. * Adds resource and cost loading to schedules when required. * Provides scheduling support to operations, marketing, and other departments. * Considers regional and market factors—such as weather, materials, and labor—in schedule planning. * Assists with project pursuits and proposals by developing preliminary schedules.
