Job Description Demonstrates a high degree of Velaa’s culture and service standards and reflects the values of Velaa Private Island. Overall responsibility for delivery of construction projects (scope, time, cost, quality). Lead and manage construction teams, supervisors, and contractors. Control project budgets, schedules, and variations. Oversee technical coordination, drawings, and construction methodologies. Manage procurement, contracts, and contractor performance. Coordinate with other departments to minimize operational impact. Monitor risks, quality, and project progress reporting. Manage handover, as-built documentation, and asset integration. Qualifications Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar position with a 5-star luxury resort/hotel. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes. Excellent command of written & spoken English, fluency in other languages will be an advantage. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, MC system with excellent analytical and organizational skills. Excellent knowledge of construction software like AutoCAD or similar. A bachelor's degree or higher diploma from a recognized institution would be an added advantage. Department: Engineering
