Description
Title: Senior Consultant, Advisory & Consulting – Digital & Security Reporting to the General Manager, the individual will work within the Global Advisory & Consulting team, in close collaboration with the organization’s vast engineering, technology, and scientific resource base. The successful candidate will be leading various digital and security projects and have primary responsibility for the delivery of studies from concept through to pilot. Additionally, the candidate shall support the group’s overall sales effort through proposal/tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client interfacing activities. Job Responsibilities: Lead cybersecurity and AI/ML consulting engagements for defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure clients Assess vulnerabilities in AI-enabled defense platforms, autonomous systems, and mission-critical networks Advise on secure system architecture and threat modeling for national security applications Support developments in AI governance, cyber resilience strategies, and compliance with industry recognised standards Integrate AI security frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 23894) into system design and operational workflows Evaluate risks in neural networks, deep learning, and reinforcement learning models used in sensitive environments Provide technical guidance on secure deployment of AI platforms in hybrid cloud, edge, and embedded environments Ability to conduct technical due diligence for M&A, infrastructure and energy transition type projects an advantage Assess cyber-physical risks in offshore, nearshore, and terrestrial energy systems Deliver bespoke consulting solutions by coordinating with cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, engineering, and data science Support secure integration of sustainable fuels, gas infrastructure, and digital control systems Lead and mentor technical teams in high-stakes, interdisciplinary environments Communicate complex technical concepts to defense and security stakeholders, policymakers, and non-technical audiences Collaborate with government, military, and industry partners to align cybersecurity and AI strategies with national priorities Drive project execution and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and mission-aligned solutions Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Post graduate degrees a plus. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or CRT; advanced credentials like CCT, CCSAS, or CCSAM are highly desirable. Familiarity with AI security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 23894, OWASP ML Top 10) an advantage 5–8 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, AI/ML security Operational Technology (OT) engineering, operations, and cybersecurity Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including neural networks, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. Strong knowledge of software development, system architecture, and network architecture. Familiarity with security testing methodologies, penetration testing, and adversary simulation. Passionate about cybersecurity and AI, with a curious, hands-on mindset and eagerness to explore vulnerabilities across diverse technologies. Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams and working in cross-functional, interdisciplinary environments. Excellent analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of translating complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
