WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Toyota’s Environmental Sustainability Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Consultant, Carbon Neutrality.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the development and execution of regional Carbon strategies.
Reporting to the General Manager, the person in this role will support the Environmental Sustainability department’s objective to provide sustained positive environmental, societal, and financial value.
This position is based in Georgetown, Kentucky. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of strategic carbon/energy plans
  • Develop tactical solutions and implementation plans and lead implementation to achieve carbon goals using proven and innovative technology and management techniques
  • Supports strategic policy development in this area and interacts with government, NGO, and industry for joint opportunities
  • Works with power producers, landowners, local governments, and contractors to implement a revenue-generating portfolio of renewable power projects to achieve our regional goal of matching 100% of power purchase with renewable power
  • Create standards, guidelines, and programs that support carbon goal achievement
