We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant Cardiologist to join a government hospital in the UAE, where you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care. In this leadership role, you will utilize your extensive experience in cardiology to oversee patient management, mentor junior staff, and ensure the highest standards of medical practice. Your contributions will be vital to advancing the hospital's cardiovascular services and improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular diseases, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations. Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as angiograms, echocardiograms, and ECGs. Develop and implement advanced treatment plans for various cardiac conditions, ensuring personalized patient care. Perform complex cardiac procedures and interventions, leading efforts in the catheterization lab and operating room. Provide mentorship and training to junior cardiologists, fellows, and medical staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the cardiovascular care pathway and streamline patient treatment processes. Engage in clinical research projects, contributing to the advancement of cardiology and improving hospital protocols. Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care. Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology and related technologies through continuous education and professional development. Medical degree, with board certification in Cardiology. A minimum of 8-10 years of clinical experience as a Cardiologist, including significant experience in a senior or leadership role. Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. Extensive experience performing cardiac procedures and interventions. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex clinical scenarios. Commitment to mentorship, teaching, and developing staff members. Active involvement in clinical research and continuing medical education. Knowledge of the healthcare system in the UAE and familiarity with local medical guidelines is a plus. Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
