Jacobs are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Climate Response & ESG Advisory team in Dubai to support high‑impact climate, sustainability, and ESG advisory engagements across the region. About the opportunity


  • Support performance-based design decisions using data and modeling to optimize energy, carbon, comfort, and performance outcomes.
  • Contribute to energy system validations to verify efficiency, reliability, and operational readiness against expected performance.
  • Support the development of sustainability strategies and roadmaps that align business objectives with environmental performance and regulatory expectations.
  • Contribute to ESG integration in planning and design to manage risk, improve resilience, and strengthen stakeholder confidence.
  • Support GHG inventories and emissions reduction strategies across scopes, including development of practical, implementable carbon-reduction pathways.
  • Support asset vulnerability and climate risk assessments to inform business continuity, emergency preparedness, and resilience planning.
  • Contribute to community insights, social value creation strategies, and social return on investment (SROI) assessments to inform decision-making.
  • Support sustainability due diligence, post-acquisition planning, climate-aligned deal structuring, and ESG reporting activities.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering, environmental science, sustainability, climate change, economics, planning, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience supporting ESG, climate, sustainability, or environmental advisory projects, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Ability to work across a range of climate response and ESG topics, including decarbonization, resilience, adaptation, and sustainable finance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience in preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and client-ready advisory outputs.
  • Experience supporting client and stakeholder engagement; contributing to workshops, consultations, and briefings; and helping translate technical climate and ESG analysis into clear, decision‑ready insights.
