As a Senior Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions, leading a team of dermatology professionals, and contributing to the development of dermatology practices within the facility. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring high-quality care for all patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with various dermatological conditions. Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. Supervise and mentor junior dermatologists and medical staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Perform advanced dermatological procedures, including surgical and cosmetic interventions. Develop protocols and guidelines to improve the quality of care within the dermatology department. Engage in community education and outreach programs to promote skin health awareness. Participate in research initiatives to advance the field of dermatology and improve patient care. Stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices in dermatology. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Dermatology. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in dermatology with a strong foundation in clinical practice. Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff members. Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide array of dermatological conditions. Proficient in performing advanced dermatological and cosmetic procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Involvement in clinical research is an advantage. Ability to thrive in a government healthcare setting and navigate complex regulatory environments.
