Description
  • Develop and implement the Group’s overall Learning & Development strategy across all hotel departments.

  • Identify training and development needs in collaboration with HR, Management and Department Heads.
  • Design and deliver training programmes focusing on leadership, communication, guest experience, service excellence, teamwork, conflict management and professional development.
  • Strengthen and promote a consistent service culture and guest experience philosophy across the organisation.
  • Develop structured programmes for Supervisors, Department Heads and Managers, supporting leadership development and internal career progression.
  • Support newly promoted Managers and Supervisors in developing their people-management and leadership capabilities.
  • Design and coordinate effective onboarding and induction programmes, ensuring employees understand the organisation’s culture, values and service standards.
  • Work closely with Department Heads to identify performance or skills gaps and recommend appropriate development initiatives.
  • Deliver workshops around employee engagement, motivation, communication, emotional intelligence and team effectiveness.
  • Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Introduce coaching and mentoring approaches to encourage continuous employee and management development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, performance indicators and operational observations.
  • Keep up to date with modern hospitality L&D practices and introduce new learning methodologies where appropriate.
  • Act as an ambassador of the organisation’s culture, ensuring that people development ultimately contributes to an exceptional and consistent guest experience.
