TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Skilled in Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools, especially One Identity Manager (1IM).
  • Strong SQL Server knowledge – including queries, indexing, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience withscripting languages like C# and PowerShell, including 1IM-specific scripting.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with systems like Active Directory, Entra ID, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols: SCIM, REST, SOAP, JDBC, and LDAP.
  • Familiar with hybrid identity setups (on-prem AD + Entra ID).
  • Understanding of secure API authentication: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
  • Experience with job monitoring, troubleshooting, and workflow debugging.
  • Practical knowledge of RBAC, least privilege, segregation of duties (SoD), and compliance controls.
  • Familiar with ITIL-based processes: incident, problem, change, and release management.
  • Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, and JIRA.

Responsibilities

This role has three main responsibilities:

  • Delivering technical consultancy
  • Supporting pre-sales activities for Zigabyte Australia and its partners
  • Developing and strengthening partner relationships in Zigabyte’s key focus areas

The Consultant provides expert support across the full solution lifecycle within their area of expertise.
In pre-sales, the role involves presenting solutions, responding to client needs, and helping align proposals with their strategic, operational, and financial goals.
The role also includes working with partners—offering guidance, training, and support to help them develop and deliver effective IT and operational solutions.

Principal Accountabilities Consulting Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Design and deliver solutions using industry best practices.
  • Implement software solutions on time, within scope, and aligned to customer needs.
  • Use proven delivery methods to ensure consistent and successful outcomes.
  • Build relationships with customers and industry peers to stay informed on trends.
  • Collaborate with the broader Zigabyteteam—share knowledge, support others, and continue learning.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and continuously improve skills.

    Technical Focus Areas (examples include but are not limited to):

  • Design, configure, and support One Identity Manager (1IM) modules (e.g., lifecycle management, RBAC, attestation).

  • Integrate with systems like Active Directory, Entra ID, Workday, and various SaaS apps.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and scripts for identity workflows.
  • Monitor and configure Job Service, job queues, and sync processes.
  • Manage user lifecycle events (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) with accurate provisioning/deprovisioning.
  • Troubleshoot issues using APIs (SCIM, REST, SOAP, LDAP, JDBC).
  • Perform UAT, integration, and regression testing across environments.
  • Conduct system health checks and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, SOX, Essential Eight, and NIST.
  • Support access certifications, role modelling, and audit readiness.
  • Participate in Change Management, documenting and executing deployments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and documentation efforts.

    Pre-Sales Responsibilities

  • Join scoping calls and define the technical aspects of the project (assumptions, scope, approach, and effort estimates).

  • Provide expert input throughout the sales cycle; collaborate with the Zigabyte team as needed.
  • Identify potential risks in proposed solutions and outline remediation strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and partners, advising on best practices and solution benefits.
  • Assist with formal documentation such as RFI, RFQ, and RFT when needed.

    Partner Alliance Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert to position Zigabyte Australia as a key partner in delivering successful outcomes.

  • Support partner enablement efforts through training (virtual, in-person, or classroom sessions).
