Our IT Auditing team is made up of audit focused people who are all pivotal to the successful delivery of our IT External/Internal Audit engagements. We are dedicated to support the evaluation of our audit clients’ IT control environment. The team draws on a diverse and dedicated group of people, powerful KPMG methodologies, innovating capability and assets, and global resources to support our clients in achieving the right milestones. Risk Consulting is a growing business that focuses on helping our clients understand, manage, and oversee their risks, including conduct and regulatory change.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

• Background in external/internal audit and/or risk (ideally with a professional services firm) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. US-SOX accreditation is desirable.
• Have gained strong technology risk and controls knowledge.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of clients and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and share expertise with team members to strengthen capability.
• A tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Information Systems, Commerce or other), CA or CISA equivalent or ability to obtain a CA or CISA.

• Delivering a variety of Technology Risk assurance and advisory projects, including internal audit, external audit, attestation and first & second line technology risk advisory.
• Developing, coaching and mentoring team members, providing stretch assignments to advance their capability.
• Providing technical knowledge, direction and training to engagement team members.
• Supporting engagement managers in the overall project management of engagements as well as the preparation of clear and concise reports to IT management and CIO’s
