ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant, Learning & Development to join our growing team!
As a Senior Consultant, Learning & Development, your work will have a big impact on the achievement of our goals. People will count on you to be an energetic and creative individual who can design, develop, and facilitate various in-hours training courses for our Specialty Solutions department.
You are a dependable and experienced partner who can successfully apply adult learning best practices to complete deliverables in a timely manner. You are open and collaborative to becoming part of a team that is expanding and undergoing changes. We are continually striving to improve our existing internal processes and implementing new ones – you’re someone who looks forward to adding your voice, experience, and unique perspective.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Identify specific training needs within our Specialty Solutions department.
  • Work with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to design, develop, and facilitate training material for Specialty Solutions employees.
  • Conduct training sessions and evaluate participants’ progress.
  • Seek out opportunities to improve practices.
  • May provide coaching and feedback to participants after training events.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programs, which may include scheduling programs, liaison with trainers/presenters, confirm participation, booking training rooms/virtual sessions, producing and distributing training materials.
  • In collaboration with colleagues, create and maintain robust on-boarding training for new Intact employees.
  • Implement instructional design and adult learning theory to further knowledge transfer across the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to develop strong, innovative, and technology-enhanced courses and programs.
  • Maintain results and be able to collaborate to ensure outcomes are on track to meet business needs.
