Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Seniority Level: Senior Consultant / Manager Role Overview Vantage Point Global is seeking experienced Senior Consultants and Managers to join our Conduct, Compliance, and Regulatory Transformation practice. This role is ideal for professionals with specialist expertise in one or more of the following areas: Targeted Support, Financial Advice, Conduct Regulations, Regulatory Transformation, or FCA Authorisations & Variation of Permissions (VoP). You will work with leading financial services clients to design, deliver, and assure regulatory solutions that drive better customer outcomes, enhance governance, and ensure alignment with FCA expectations. This is a high‑impact role for individuals who enjoy solving complex regulatory challenges and shaping best‑practice operating models. Key Responsibilities Design and enhance Consumer Duty and Targeted Support frameworks for customers with additional or emerging needs. Review and optimise customer journeys, controls, and processes relating to vulnerability and outcomes. Conduct financial advice suitability reviews and support enhancement of adviser oversight and advice models. Interpret and embed FCA Handbook requirements across customer journeys (COBS, CONC, MCOB, SYSC, Consumer Duty). Develop and implement conduct risk frameworks, policies, monitoring plans, and assurance approaches. Lead and support regulatory change programmes from initial assessment through to end‑to‑end implementation. Shape and deliver Target Operating Models aligned to regulatory and commercial objectives. Manage and deliver FCA Authorisation and VoP applications, including business model development and regulatory documentation. Liaise with regulators, prepare senior leaders for FCA engagement, and respond to regulatory queries. Support remediation programmes involving customer harm, unsuitable advice, or regulatory findings. Produce clear reporting, insights, and MI for senior stakeholders and governance forums. Candidate Profile We are looking for professionals who: Bring subject‑matter expertise in at least one of the role’s specialist areas. Can distil complex regulation into practical, outcome‑focused solutions. Thrive in client‑facing environments and enjoy building trusted relationships. Work independently to lead workstreams or projects, depending on seniority. Communicate clearly, influence effectively, and deliver with a strong attention to detail. Are proactive problem‑solvers who enjoy working in fast‑moving environments. Qualifications & Experience Experience in one or more of the following: Targeted Support / vulnerable customer frameworks Financial advice delivery or suitability review (Level 4 RQF preferred) Conduct risk management, monitoring, or policy development Regulatory transformation or compliance change programmes FCA authorisations or Variation of Permission (VoP) applications Strong understanding of FCA regulatory regimes, including Consumer Duty, SM&CR, and relevant Handbook modules. Proven ability to assess and design customer journeys, processes, and controls. Strong analytical, documentation, and assurance skills. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation capability. Consulting experience beneficial but not essential (required for Manager level).
