Description

Ashurst Risk Advisory was created to respond to client demand and is designed to provide risk expertise that complements Ashurst’s core legal services.
We provide the opportunity to work with an expertise-led team that has been consistently growing since its inception, and is dedicated to collaboration, diversity, transparency and innovation. Our vision is to create a unique culture in the consulting market based around a flat, collaborative structure that offers everyone the opportunity to work closely with Directors, Partners and clients on engagements. This means you have on the job training with your leaders, direct involvement with business development, clear recognition for your performance, and greater career opportunities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a result of exponential growth, we are looking to hire a Specialist (equivalent to a Consultant/Senior Consultant in Big4 consulting) to join our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) team in any of Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane.
As a Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering strategic ESG and risk solutions, as well as providing effective communication to clients, maintaining key Ashurst and client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of the Risk Advisory practice and ESG team in Australia.
Your work will include advising clients on the development and implementation of strategic planning and ESG risk frameworks, the assessment of risk programs, reviewing sustainability-related governance frameworks and the design and implementation of compliance programs. Previous experience in projects, social performance, energy transition, sustainability risk mitigation, native title, Aboriginal cultural heritage or land access approvals is highly desirable.
