Job Overview
The Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition is responsible for assisting with all facets of recruitment success throughout Fort Bend ISD.While providing an exceptional experience, the Sr. Consultant will play a critical role in the development of a strategic recruiting plan which employs both traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. The Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition is responsible for providing services directly related to analyzing talent needs. While providing an exceptional experience, the Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition will assist with evaluating needs of the district through knowledge, benchmarking, and best practices. In addition, the incumbent will collaborate with hiring managers to proactively identify future hiring needs and recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates.

Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SHRM) Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated HR leadership in a public school district, preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human resources information management systems, including the ability to utilize databases to design and generate statistical and informational reports
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public and district staff and management
  • Knowledge of the District’s human resources policies, procedures and practices
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to supervise and guide the work of others
  • Ability to be flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadline
